FaxFile is a mobile application that allows you to send fax files and documents, including PDF files, directly from your Android phone or tablet to any fax number in the USA/Canada and various international locations. With FaxFile, sending a fax is as simple as selecting a file and entering a fax number.

This app supports sending PDF and Microsoft Office Word documents (.doc or .docx) as faxes. Additionally, it can send images in PNG and JPG formats, allowing you to fax photos captured by your device's camera.

In order to send a fax, you will need to purchase fax credits through the Google Play Store as an in-app purchase. It's important to note that once you start a fax, the purchased credits are non-refundable.

The faxes are transferred in the background from your device to FaxFile's fax servers, which handle the actual sending process. The application provides real-time fax status updates at each step of the process.

There is no monthly subscription required to use FaxFile for sending faxes. However, if you are interested in sending international faxes, please check the international rate table within the application before purchasing credits to ensure that your desired countries are supported.

FaxFile allows you to send faxes to both contacts stored in your device and manually typed-in fax numbers for one-time faxes.

In the event of a failed fax, FaxFile automatically retries sending without any additional charge. However, it is recommended that you verify if a fax machine is actually answering by calling the recipient's specified number. This step is crucial as it often resolves the most common issue encountered with failed faxes. Please refrain from assuming that "the fax machine is working."

Do keep in mind that transferring and sending fax formats of image files (photos of documents) may take a while. It is advisable to allow a minimum of 3 minutes per page for transferring and two minutes for faxing if you are sending a scanned or image file. This duration may vary depending on the speed of your data connection.

FaxFile is compatible with all Android devices, including tablets, and requires network access to function properly. Connecting via WiFi is generally recommended for the best performance.
